Recruiting excellent teachers - particularly in mathematics, science and other specialist subjects - is increasingly difficult.
The European Teaching Fellowship is developing a new solution: identifying high-potential graduates and early-career professionals, preparing them for the classroom and placing them in partner schools while they work towards international qualified teacher status (iQTS).

Carefully selected candidates
Quality is central to the Fellowship
We will consider candidates with a first-class or 2:1 degree, or European equivalent, from a Russell Group or leading European university.
Applicants will complete a competitive assessment process evaluating their academic ability, communication skills, resilience, motivation and classroom potential.
Only candidates with the qualities to become excellent teachers will be introduced to partner schools.
Training that goes beyond online delivery
Fellows will teach while working towards iQTS, supported by structured, in-person training and a local peer cohort.
We will design and deliver the initial teacher training, helping Fellows contribute effectively in the classroom from the outset.
